Bubblien Attack app review

Bubblien Attack

Price: $5.99

For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad with iOS 4.3 or later

Bubblien by Comicorp is an app where you have to use your crazy slingshot skills to kill all the Bubbliens.
You’ll have to fling your alien defenders into the seemingly-endless attack of Bubbliens. Don’t miss too  many, though, because you only get four chances before you die. Let just four of those nasty aliens reach the ground without killing them, and you’re done.

The game works in Portrait view, and the aliens will fall towards you and the difficulty will increase the further along in the game you get.

Sometimes you’ll see a bubble falling towards you that holds two aliens inside. When you pop the bubble, you’ll still have to kill the two Bubbliens. The gameplay is really fast, totally addicting, and fun to play.

The graphics are really well-done and the music isn’t overwhelmingly annoying. The game really is one you can pick up and play anywhere, so if you have a few minutes of free time it would be perfect.

The app is Game Center integrated and you can post your Achievements and high scores there. There are unlockable levels, unlockable alien characters, and upgradeable soldiers.

The paid version is ad-free and offers premium gameplay. It was released in early December 2012 and does not yet have enough ratings for iTunes to display an average. There are no feedback comments yet.
I found this game to be totally addictive but I’m wondering why it’s priced so high.

You can download a free version here to try it out before you buy.
