Top Notch Points

The app has three different versions.  The first is somewhat free, but to get more information you will ultimately need to pay out.  The first version, The Siu Lim Tao (meaning "Little Idea”) is Wing Chun's 1st form.  You will learn Tan Sau, Pak Sau, Bon Sau and many more. All of which are techniques that can be used in fighting in the real world.

The second version is called The Chum Kiu Form (translation: "Seeking the Bridge”) Wing Chun's 2nd form.  This form has more advanced moves that are more technically difficult.  It is not advanced but definitely not beginner either.  The techniques used are: Double Gum Sau, Dai Bong Sau, Double Tan Sau, Bong Sau / Wu Sau, Wang Tek and more. All shown in easy to follow, step by step videos.  Form is of the utmost importance so this version is for those who have completed the first version.

The third version is The Biu Jee Form (or "Thrusting Fingers”) which is Wing Chun's 3rd form.  This form incorporates what is learned in the first two versions and adds:  Kau Sau, Mann Sau, Kop Jarn, Mang geng sao, Sat geng sau, Gwai jeung (butting elbow) Pie jeung - (hacking elbow) Trapping.  This level is still street ready fighting but with advanced moves and techniques.

Three years of work and training went in to the making of this App – taking the best techniques and refining them to single, concise, effective movements that are tested and proven to work in the real world.

Final Thoughts

Obviously it takes many years of training to become a master at these techniques but getting Wing Chun Kung-Fu & Chinese Martial Arts for Self Defense is definitely a step in the right direction.  The techniques are modified for use in everyday life – which is somewhat new to martial arts videos.  Usually they are not useful – whereas this set is.  Even if the full set purchase is necessary, it is still more convenient, cheaper and real-world applicable than lessons at a studio.
