Price: Free

For:  iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad and iOS 4.3 or later

Amelia and Terror of the Night LITE by OhNoo Studio is an interactive graphic storybook for both young and old.

Amelia is a little girl who, along with her three friends, lives in Mushroom Clearing. Her friends are TeddyTeddy, a big blue furry creature, Little Pencil, a tortoise, and Kitty-Patter, who is a two-wheeled cat. Are you interested yet?

There is a “bad” guy in the book named Whine who must be defeated. Amelia and her friends have to rescue their friend from Whine. The book is about cooperation, acceptance, friendship, and courage.

The book is super-interactive: there are three hidden stars on each screen; hidden objects throughout; bubbles you can tap to pop; and hidden characters to find. You can switch between night and day, too.

Features of the app include amazing graphics, incredible details, and an interesting, unique storyline; full narration by professional actors; professional sounds and soundtrack; smooth animation; and hand-drawn illustrations.

The app was released in early December 2012 and has a total of 32 ratings with an average of five out of five stars. Feedback comments are positive.

This is a fantastic story with great animations. It has a very Tim Burton-ish feel to it, so if you like that style, you’ll love this. I especially like that there are so many interactive pieces to it.

If you like the app, the full version is available for $1.99 here. The app is also available for Android devices.
