This game features fun graphics, helpful tips and hints throughout, and it also let’s your kids immerse themselves in the app by interacting with other users.

The major drawback of this app is that only one of the nine sections is unlocked in the free version – the rest of the sections are only available if you unlock them with an in-app purchase of $9.99. This may seem a little steep, but it is a one-time fee to unlock a lot of great content for your kids. It’s probably best to let your kids try out the free section first to see how it works for them, chances are they won’t be disappointed. How it Works

The first time your child uses the app they’ll be prompted to enter their name and choose an avatar – this will become their online identity in the app. After that it’s a matter of choosing the area of science they want to learn about by tapping on the section they want to explore. Each section begins with a quick overview of how everything works. Your child can earn badges for different achievements as well as points which they can use when they feel they’re ready to challenge another user in an online quiz. They have to accumulate at least 500 points before they can challenge another user to a one on one challenge. The ability to interact with other users really makes this one a lot of fun for the kids.

If your child isn’t sure about the objective of a section they can tap on the preview button at any time which opens up a virtual text book with a nice summary of what the section is about.  There’s also a lightbulb icon at the top of each page as well which will also take them to some helpful tips and hints, as well as allowing them to modify their profile. The developers of this app have gone to every effort to make it easy for your children to get the answers they need to make using the app fun.
