Comics Unlimited app review

Comics Unlimited

Price: Free

Comics Unlimited by coMix on-the-go (ZERO-SUM.LTD) is an app for your iPad that gives you a huge library of comics to read at your leisure.

The digital library of action-packed comics features more than 1,000 titles from such well-known publishers as Zenescope, IDW, 215 Ink, Antartic Press, Pop Goes the Icon, Cool Yule Comics, Campfire Graphic Novels, and plenty more. With new comics being added all the time, the library will only continue to expand. All genres are represented, whether you're looking for action, romance, mythology, history, comedy, or drama.

The app strives to give you the same feeling as reading the paperback version of the comic, just on a digital level. The app is extremely easy to navigate as you switch among comics. You'll be able to make use of a number of great features such as being able to read the book in single-page view mode, zoom-view mode, or frame-view mode. You can also set the page orientation for either vertical or horizontal.

Perhaps the coolest feature here is the Action Mode, which allows you read the comic in a whole new way by incorporating vibration. You'll actually feel like you're part of the action in the book itself.

If you find yourself reading a lot of comics you'll want to check out the unlimited comic downloads that are available for a fixed fee. You can opt for a monthly or weekly plan, depending on what suits your needs.

Comics Unlimited was released in early January 2013 and is available in English only. Feedback comments are all positive.

I think this is a great way to make your comic books portable and convenient to access while on the go.
