Introduction

New York: Coffee(In)Touch Guide  by (In)Touch Network, Ltd is an app to bring you up-to-date information about local, independent coffee houses serving premium coffee.

When you’re in New York and you want to know where the best cafes are for getting delicious coffee, this is the app you’ll need. The database was populated with all the city’s best coffee houses, coffee shops, coffee houses, all independent and serving locally-roasted specialty coffees. Each entry was personally selected by a panel of experts.

The database, by the way, is constantly being updated as the current entries are re-evaluated and new ones are selected. Entries are judged based on dessert quality, atmosphere, and food quality in addition to coffee quality.

You’ll see detailed profiles of each entry, including the name, location, phone number, hours of operation, map location, WiFi availability, ratings, and any professional photos. You can choose List view or Map view when searching, and filter out any of them that are closed at the time of your search.

To compare entries, you can view as a list or as a deck of cards to be shuffled.

The search function allows you to search by ZIP code, attraction, borough, address, closest subway station, or name.

New York: Coffee(In)Touch was released in early December 2012 and has 219 ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars. Feedback is all positive.

This is one of the best NYC apps and I really hope they do all the major cities. This is great for visitors to the city or even residents who just want to expand their knowledge of independent coffee houses in the city.
