iSays HD app review

Reviews

iSays HD

Price: Free (today only)

iSays HD by fir Schindelhaim is an extremely addictive old-school memory game for your iOS device. It’s on sale for free today only! It’s normally $0.99.

If you loved the electronic game called Simon Says, you’ll love this app. It has over 300,000 downloads to date.

Test and improve your memory with this app. It has five game modes, 10 sound themes you can choose, and Game Center support.

The premise of the game is simple: the game will light up one or more of the four colored buttons in a random order and it’s your job to press the buttons and reproduce the order in which they played the first time. As you move along in the rounds, it gets tougher as more will light up for you to remember. The trick is to beat your score every time you play.

Each of the four colored buttons – red, yellow, blue, and green – produces a different tone.

The app starts out very easily. Each round you go through adds just one tone on to the pattern; the trick is to remember all the colors as you progress. What level can you get to before you mess it up?

iSays HD was updated to Version 4.00 on December 6, 2012. The update added support for iOS 6, iPhone 5, and iPad retina. This version has 44 customer ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars.

I used to play Simon Says with my grandfather. It was kind of our thing, so to see this on sale today was pretty much a trip down memory lane. It’s a great game. Check it out. If you miss the sale and want to try out the free version before you buy, get it here.

For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad with iOS 4.3 or later
