Flipdeck app review: A new and innovative way to save and share information 2021

I’ve often had a little difficulty trying to stay organized as I’m one of those people that always seems to have a million different thoughts running through my head at any one time.

The built-in note feature on my iPhone is what I use at the moment to try and keep on top of information that’s important to me, but it’s not the most efficient file management app as it doesn’t really organize my notes in any particular way other than by date.

An iPhone app for documents that’s really caught my attention with the potential to help me do a better job of saving and sharing information in an organized fashion is a new app called Flipdeck.

This iPhone app for managing files is designed to store information in a series of cards stacked in a deck. I think most of us understand that analogy and it’s definitely a format with a lot of potential.

Create a Deck and Cards

The first step in getting organized with Flipdeck is to create your first deck, which the app will prompt you to do as soon as you open it up. It’s a simple straightforward process.

When you’re ready to create your second deck all you have to do is tap on the deck’s icon in the bottom left of the menu and then tap on the plus icon in the top right corner to add a new deck.

The app will then prompt you to name your deck, choose an icon, and enter a description for your deck – it will then save this new information in the list of all your decks that you’ve created so far. It’s a simple process and one that really will help to keep you organized.

Of course, a deck's not much use to you if it doesn’t have any cards. These cards are what you use to store the actual information that you want to save and share.

To add a card to any deck, you simply tap on the deck first, then tap on the plus icon in the top right-hand corner, give your card a name, include an image if you like, and enter any extra information about the image you wish to share if it isn’t self-explanatory.

Once you’ve created more than one card within a deck you’ll be able to quickly swipe through them all by simply swiping left or right across the screen to switch to the card that you’re looking for. It’s an easy way to stay organized and a great way to stay on top of things.

You’re really only limited by your own imagination as to what sort of information you can save on a card. As we’ve already stated you can include images – for example you can actually save a copy of your business card as an image so that you can easily access and share it when someone requests one online.

You can also include links to webpages as well as links to videos showing your products in action. In the business world every second counts and having information to share at your fingertips at any time could potentially give you a big advantage over your competition.

More Cool Features

When you are ready to share a card with a client, friend, or loved one all you have to do is tap on the card, tap on the share icon in the bottom right corner, and then tap on the send icon in the list on the right-hand side.

The app then gives you the option of either sending the card via mail, or through a text message. Once you make your selection, Flipdeck will open the appropriate app in about half a second. Then all you have to do is enter the address of the person you wish to send it to and hit send.

A feature of this app that I really thought was positive was the fact that it includes auto filled messages designed to save you even more time.

For example, when you send an email, the app actually includes a message stating “Hello, here’s the information we were talking about.” It’s a simple little extra feature, but one that’s very convenient and useful for the end user.

Flipdeck is the app I’ve been trying to find for years now. The iPhone is a great tool, but the standard apps it comes preloaded with don’t come close to offering the level of organization that this one does.

Best of all, it’s simple to use and easy to set up. If you’re like me and you have a lot of information that you need to use time and time again then you’ll find this app very helpful.
