iTranslate Voice by Sonico GmbH is an app that translates the words you speak into your device.

If you are the type to travel a lot then this app might just be right up your alley. With so many different languages spoken around the world, learning them all would seem nearly impossible. With iTranslate all you have to do is choose the language to translate to and speak into your devices microphone.

The app boasts more than 36 languages available for translation including Spanish, Mandarin, German, Swedish, Danish, and many more. You can input translations by either typing or speaking into your device. The voice recognition is so accurate though you will never need to type anything.

Translations can be shared by simply tapping on them and selecting your method of sharing. Mail, SMS, tweet, or post to Facebook right from the app. 

iTranslate was updated September 19, 2012 and included new language support. This app has 2545 ratings with an average of 4.5 stars out of five.

I am a language fanatic and this app is everything I could have hoped for. It is great for those who don’t want to take the time to learn a new language but can also be used as a teaching aid. The number of languages is impressive and the voice recognition is spot on.
