Stack the States by Dan Russell-Pinson is an educational app that teaches you about the individual states.

This app is a great learning tool for kids. It is a fun way to learn about the 50 states and their capitols, shapes, locations, and more. Included games are interactive and enjoyable and will help keep you interested as you learn more and more.

Stack the States in an effort to reach the finish line without causing a collapse. Every level you complete earns you access to a new states and can earn you access to bonus games and prizes including: Map it, Pile up, Puzzler, and Capitol Drop.

To help test your knowledge there are hundreds of unique questions. You can create up to six user profiles and set any one of the 50 States as your avatar. Your personalized map lets you track the States you have unlocked and allows you to view high resolution photos of the various landmarks for each one.

Stack the States was updated to version 2.3 on November 19, 2012 and included support for iPhone 5. This app has 26 ratings with an average of 4.5 stars out of five.

I found this game to be fun and informative. The content is designed to keep young children interested while they learn all about the 50 states. With lots of pictures and animations the game is lively and entertaining.
