The way it works is that Tinder will give you names of people that live near you. If you want to connect with them you can anonymously "like" them. Once you have "liked" someone if they send a like back to you Tinder will make the introductions so you can chat right within the app.
In this latest version of the app the crashing bug has been addressed and fixed as well you don't have to worry about duplicate recommendations on your list anymore.
This app is really about helping you expand your social network, locating people who live near you that you may even pass on a regular basis but have never officially met. You’ll be able to find people outside your social circles and have the opportunity to chat in a safe environment, in Tinder.
Tinder was updated on Jan. 21, 2013 and has 313 customer ratings with an average rating of two and a half stars out of five.
I think the idea of this app is great, finding people near you that you might otherwise never actually get to connect with. I really like that it was anonymous too, which takes away that fear when first chatting with someone new. The app itself is quite basic, but if you’re just looking for a place to connect and chat, it gets the job done.
