Flipboard by Flipboard Inc. is a social news magazine designed to give you all the information you're looking for in one convenient location.

This is meant to be your own personal news magazine that collects news from across the web. This includes politics, world events, travel, entertainment, sports, and breaking news.

What makes the app cool is that it is personalized to your liking. You will pick the topics you're interested in and then Flipboard shows you the stories in those areas. There’s no need to wade through countless stories that you don't want to read, as this is all about the news you want.

If you're looking to expand outside of your chosen topics check out the recommended reading that Flipboard staff populate or view your favorite sources and see what else they have listed. You can keep track of your favorite sources as you go by adding them to your Flipboard with the press of a button.

What's really cool is that Flipboard goes further than just providing you with news, it will even let you browse through your social networks to find out what's happening with your friends and family. You can add Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, and Instagram.

Flipboard was updated on Nov. 1, 2012 and has 8,149 customer ratings with an average rating of five out of five stars.

I love that the information I found was tailor-made to my liking. It was exactly what I wanted to read without wasting anytime searching for it. I also liked that it felt like a magazine as I read since I was able to just tap and flip through the "pages."

For: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and iPad with iOS 4.2 or later
