Tube Downloader by Appsneon gives you access to a selection of free video and tube sites.

If you want the convenience of being able to watch your videos no matter where you are, then this is the way to do it. Tube Downloader acts as your video safe and even features a password so you're the only one with access to it.

There are plenty of features here and the great thing is that they are always updating the features as well. Some of the things you'll be able to do with this app include unlimited downloads, a web browser that is fully integrated, let your downloads happen while in background mode, download up to 10 videos all at the same time, and you can download videos that are bigger than 20MB over 3G.

Videos can be transferred to your PC or MAC through USB or WiFi. There is a file manager that lets you create folders, sub-folders, sort, and use thumbnails. You can also create video playlists for easy access. Once you're ready to watch your video, you can do it right from the app.

In this new version there has been a bug fix and it also now supports the iPhone 5.

Tube Downloader was updated on Dec. 29, 2012 and has 1,844 customer ratings with an average rating of four out of five stars.

I found the whole process quite simple here from finding a video, downloading it, to playing it. Not only that but the download speeds were quite good.
