Time Magazine by Time Inc. can now be enjoyed on your iPad, complete with exclusive digital features.

You can download the app for free and purchase individual issues or you can subscribe to the magazine. If you're already subscribing to Time Magazine, the digital version on your iPad is free.

You'll have a weekly digital issue delivered straight to you complete with all the news in the print edition. Of course there is the bonus content, which is where the app excels by offering video, additional high-quality photos, and even live updates.

Time is known for its incredibly high level of journalism and coverage, and of course its commemorative issues. You can even purchase these special issues, as well as past ones.

The app itself is extremely easy to use, with this latest version containing bug fixes for iOS 6. The picture quality on your iPad is absolutely stunning allowing the photo journalism-styled stories to really shine.

Time Magazine was updated Nov. 7, 2012 and has 743 customer ratings with an average rating of three out of five stars.

Of course the quality of the stories here is amazing, so the app certainly can’t be faulted in that department. And while it is easy to use and navigate where it still falls short is the fact it doesn’t yet support Retina display for the iPad. You’ll still be able to flip through and enjoy all the stories and photos but this is certainly something that could be improved upon in upcoming updates.
