United Airlines by United Airlines is a travel app that allows you to check your flight information straight from your mobile device.

This app was created in order to act as a travel companion. You'll be able to perform all kinds of functions through the app as well as access information about your flight.

Some of the features include flight booking, where you book your flights and even collect your Award Travel straight from your iDevice. The Check-in and Mobile Boarding Pass storage gives you access right at your fingertips.

Flight Status can be looked at so you can check the seating map, check out the seating upgrade priority list, view the in-flight amenities you'll have and learn your departure gate. You can even have your flight status sent to you via push notification.

Other handy features include the airport maps to help you find your way and flight view where you'll be able to check out the flight maps of the current flight status and of course get the weather details.

There are also other features such as DIRECTV and addictive Soduku games to play and keep you busy while you wait and travel.

United Airlines was updated on Jan. 23, 2013 and has 76 customer ratings with an average rating of two and a half out of five stars.

If you travel a lot this can be a very helpful app to have handy. I found it very easy to use and there is plenty of information here that is helpful during your journey.
