The image picker that is offered through the app allows you to pick hundreds of photos in mere seconds. You can even merge photos into a creative collage or an ani GIF.
The app is able to upload multiple pictures at once without any compromise in speed. No information is lost as all the EXIF data is kept. If you want to close the app you can still continue you on with your upload.
Feel free to change the size of your picture: maybe you want it smaller or larger, it's no problem either way.
