Weather Underground by Weather Underground, LLC will deliver the weather to you anytime, anyplace so you'll never be left wondering what the conditions are.
Weather Underground was in fact the first weather site on the Internet and since then has built a very well-known reputation as far as providing accurate weather updates and forecasts.
You can find weather information for cities/towns across the globe. Weather is gathered and provided by the more than 26,000 neighborhood weather stations.
The app uses an interactive weather map so that you can pick from the different weather overlays in order to find the information you want. There are current conditions, animated radar, webcams, satellite, and severe weather overlays.
Other features include free push notifications to alert you of severe weather, seven day forecasts that come complete with a full summary, current conditions (current temperature, wind speed, feels like temperature, humidity, pressure, and more), hourly forecasts, sunrise and sunset times, and the ability to save your favorite locations.
There is also Twitter integration so you can share weather updates and conditions.
If you want the most accurate information be sure to click on the icon on the top right of your screen, the weather station icon. This will allow you to pick a station that is closest to your current location.
Weather Underground was updated on Jan. 28, 2013 and has 27 customer ratings with an average rating of three and a half stars out of five.
With this app you won't need any additional weather information. I like that the information was updated so regularly too, which would be especially crucial during severe weather.
