TED by TED Conferences is is the official TED app for iOS devices.

You’ll get access to amazingly informative talks from some of the most fascinating speakers in the world.

You’ll hear discussions from tech geniuses, music legends, education radicals, medical experts, and business gurus. The app has more than 1400 TEDTalk videos on there right now, with more added each week.

Even when you’re not online, you can check out all the titles. Choose to watch with subtitles in more than 90 languages through the video player or watch it on your home TV using AirPlay.

You can create a playlist, download full videos and watch them offline, or listen to an on-demand playlist of audio TEDTalks any time.

The app updates most days with new talks. You can share your faves, sort through the library based on popularity or when it went online, or browse based on language, themes, or tags. If you need some help deciding, tell the app how much time you want to spend watching and you will receive some suggestions.

TED was updated to Version 2.0 on February 4, 2013. The update added subtitles, translations, increased the speed of downloads, and improved buffering times. The app has a total of 525 customer ratings with an average of 3.5 out of five stars.

I absolutely love TEDTalks and really enjoy this app to have it on the go. I’ve been watching it online on my laptop but to have it on my iPhone to listen or watch during commutes is simply fabulous.

For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad with iOS 6.0 or later
