More Information

To get started you can click on the little gear icon in the top left corner and choose a song. The selection of songs in the free version is quite good. Once you have chosen a song you are ready to play. You will see the keyboard with a series of colored rectangles at the top of the screen. As you tap on the keyboard the notes will play and it is up to you to create the rhythm. While it is not necessary to tap on the exact keys for each note you can try to press the correct keys and learn the actual notes as you go.

There is also a free play mode which lets you play on your own and practice the songs you have learned. These features not only make this app fun and exciting but also educational as well. If you want to upgrade to unlock the remaining songs you can do so at any time and further expand your repertoire.

Tiny Piano was updated to Version 1.5 on December 19, 2012 and included more free songs and support for new devices. This app has 5309 ratings with an average score of 4.5 out of five stars.

I enjoyed this piano app quite thoroughly and even shared it with my daughter who spent hours playing it. The number of free songs is quite large, which is nice compared to most free apps. This is definitely one of the better piano apps I have tried to date.

For: iPhone, iPod touch and iPad with iOS 4.3 or later
