ooVoo Video Text and Voice by ooVoo LLC allows you to use your iPad to make free voice calls, free video calls, and send free instant messages.

This app allows you to chat by voice or video with your friends and family for free. The video calls all feature HD quality, making it that much better.

You'll be able to invite 12 people to join the conversation you can view four people on one screen. During video mode you can even use landscape mode for better viewing.

Other features include being able to log in to Facebook to connect with friends, unlimited monthly video calling to Desktop and Laptop PCs and Mac computers, tablets, Smartphones, iPads, and iPhones, video call Twitter followers, enhancements to the user face, push notifications so you don't miss any calls/messages, send instant messages even while on a video call, and so much more.

This latest version has a number of improvements including being faster and stronger, and now features better battery life and stability, which was causing some people issues.

I really loved being able to chat with friends through this app for free. So many devices are supported which made this convenient no matter where I was and who I was communicating with. Navigating through the menus is very easy, as was finding and inviting friends to chat with.
