swackett for iPad by AGLogic, LLC. gives you a visual weather report straight from your iPad.

This app strays from the typical weather related apps in that you are given the forecast through a picture /symbol (peeps) of a person who is dressed for the weather conditions at that time. The app gathers the weather then converts it into a visual giving an element of fun to an otherwise strictly reference based app.

On a hot sunny day you'll be treated to a sackett peeps dressed in shorts and sunglasses of course. What's really cool is the picture even reminds you of key items for the weather, such as toting along sunblock and a bottle of water on that hot day. On a frosty day the peep will be sporting a winter coat, winter hat, and boots. Meanwhile on a wet dreary day it's an umbrella and rain jacket.

It’s about displaying the weather in a non-traditional, fun manner.

This latest version has been updated from top to bottom with a brand new interface that includes weather photography, warnings and watches, weather icons, and peeps displays.

There are also in-app Power Packs that provide you with even more features and functions.

swackett for iPad was released on Feb. 2, 2013 and has 10 customer ratings with a current rating of four and a half out of five stars.

For me I found this to be an incredibly fun way to get my weather report each day. It still gave me all the information I needed but in a creative manner.
