The Amazing Spider-Man by Gameloft is the official app for the 2012 movie of the same name. It’s on sale for a limited time only, so get it now.

You want some web-slinging action? If so, this game has it. You’ll play Spider-Man as he goes up against the Lizard and other bad guys in this fully 3D app set in New York City.

You’ll have more than 25 missions to accomplish as Spider-Man, where you’ll have to sling your webs, swing, jump, and climb all over buildings throughout the city. You’ll explore five districts: Downtown, Residential, Business, Central Park, and Pier, as you use your skills and upgrades to fight against the Lizard and all his evil minions.

The Amazing Spider-Man was updated to Version 1.0.3 on October 30, 2012. The update gives you a new suit – the ability to play Peter. The app is available in 10 languages and is rated for kids nine and older. The current version has 2190 ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars.

I think this is an incredible game. I’ve always been a huge Spider-Man fan and enjoyed the movie, so this app was quite well received. Check it out if you’re a fan.
