American Express by American Express lets you perform a number of activities while on the go straight from your mobile device.

Some of the many features you'll be able to do with this app include checking your current balance, paying your bill, viewing pending and recent transactions you've made, searching transactions for a particular one, and using and viewing your Membership Rewards points if you are enrolled in the program.

You can also access all your benefits as a Cardmember, get fraud warnings and account alerts, check out current offers, manage multiple cards, and more.

In order to log in you can use your same User ID and Password as you would use on americanexpress.com. There is also the ability to reset your User ID and Password from your mobile device.

If you happen to be a Platinum Card and/or a Centurion Card member you can use your mobile device to find the closet lounges in airports around the world.

You can even use your mobile device to redeem Mobile Gift Cards that you have gotten through Membership Rewards at select retailers.

In this latest version a number of enhancements were made to the actual system so that users will experience better overall performance.

American Express was updated on Dec. 19, 2012 and has 49 customer ratings with an average rating of three out of five stars.

I really liked the look and feel of this app. I found it to be very sleek and responded well. The information I was searching for could easily and quickly be found at all times.
