Video Editor Free for iPad by From The Tôp is, as the name would suggest, a video editing app that enables you to trim and merge your favorite videos, and share them with your friends.

This app boasts several useful features, including frame-by-frame trimming, integrated video recording, online sharing via YouTube, Facebook, and email, and support for .mp4, .mov, .m4v, and .avi video file formats. Let's check to see if this is one of the best free video editing apps for the iPad.

More Information

For an additional $0.99, Video Editor Free also enables you to add music and voice recordings to your videos so you can narrate your favorite scenes in real time. Furthermore, you can arrange your clips into a video of up to 10 minutes in length.

Video Editor Free for iPad was updated to version 1.5.2 in late-June of 2012. The current version has a total of 2030 customer ratings with an average rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars.

I find this app to have a very simple user-interface and it is generally quite easy to use. I do find the entirely free version of this app to be rather bare-bones in nature, and you will have to shell out a few extra bucks to get the most out of it. I don't think it's one of the best video editing apps, but it's worth a look.

For: iPad with iOS 4.1 or later. Users of iOS 4.2 and above will benefit from additional audio features.
