MagicPlan by Sensopia is a utility app that helps you create a realistic floor plan using real measurements.

This app takes your room measurements and then draws your floor plan that is based on your pictures. Your floor plan is available in DXF, JPG, and PDF format. If you'd rather, you can use an interactive floor plan that is available on the Internet.

The floor plan itself takes literally minutes to complete. This is great for homeowners looking to remodel, real estate agents, adjusters, craftsmen, home inspectors, interior designers, firefighters, furniture retailers, and anyone else who uses a floor plan in work or leisure.

There are plenty of benefits in using this app including the fact you don't need to move furniture around, there's no need to draw, no need to measure, no need to be a professional, and perhaps best of all there is no need to spend money.

There are helpful tutorials and an FAQ section, you do have the option of drawing freehand if you want, there is a door capture interface, and this latest version even includes bug fixes and improvements to the interface.

MagicPlan was updated on Jan. 2, 2013 and has 65 customer ratings with an average rating of four out of five stars.

There really are so many people that can benefit from this app, and thanks to its ease of use the process is quite simple and fun. I really enjoyed being able to look at these floor plans and get some great ideas without having to spend extra money and tear my house apart moving furniture.
