World Recipes

Price: $2.99 (as of 2/20/13, marked down to $0.99)

World Recipes by Green Lake Technology Ltd is an app that offers you a huge variety of recipes from all around the world. It’s on sale for a limited time, so download it today.

The app has a classic leather menu design and is cool-looking as well as packed full of useful features.

You can use the Shopping list section to help you get organized when it comes to shopping and prep; you can photo your foods and record your cooking methods; and there are no in-app purchases to make.

You don’t need an Internet connection for this app to work.

Other sections of the app besides Shopping list include Today’s Specials, Recipes, Search, and Favorites. Today’s Specials gives you six perfectly delicious recipes every day. The Recipes section classifies all the recipes into different cultures and countries, like African, Northern Europe, Japanese,

South American, Greek, Caribbean, and more. The Search function allows you to find the food you want to try, based on ingredients, name, or dish type. The Favorites section collects all of your favorite world recipes and keeps them in one place.

The app developers even have a refund policy: if you’re not happy, send them a screenshot of your purchase bill and they will refund your money.

World Recipes was updated to Version 1.5 on December 4, 2012. The update fixed a display bug that was occurring for iPhone 5 users and added support for iPad. The app has a total of 65 customer ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars.

I love trying new recipes and I enjoy foods from around the world, so I found this to be a fantastic app.

For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad with iOS 4.3 or later. World Recipes is optimized for iPhone 5.
