Fandango Movies by Fandango is a movie ticketing app that allows you to browse movies, find local cinemas, and purchase tickets.

With this app you can browse movies for over 20,000 screens, including all AMC Theaters locations.

The Reserved Seating feature allows you to choose your seats right on your iOS device, and when you get to the theater, you can have your iOS device scanned, and use it as a mobile ticket.

Other features include Fandango fan ratings and reviews, critic reviews, trailers, and full sharing support for Facebook and Twitter, so you can share your ratings and reviews with friends online.

Special iPad-only features are also available, such as browsing movies by poster, genre, MPAA rating, and more. iPad-users will also benefit from access to The Pulse which provides an overview of what is currently available on Fandango Movies.

Fandango Movies was updated to version 5.4 in late-January of 2013. The current version has a total of 1736 customer ratings with an average rating of five out of five stars.

The latest updated included the Fandango Five in the Spotlight section of the app, which features the week’s most in-demand movie tickets.

I love the idea of Mobile Tickets, and being able to transfer your tickets to Passbook makes things even more convenient. This is truly an app for the 21st Century!
