Lili is a fantastic adventure game for your iOS device. It’s on sale right now for a limited time.

Lili is a grad student who has traveled to a remote island to study flowers for her degree. She comes across some wooden constructs that serve a race of Spirits. She decides to help the wooden Constructs to fight against the Spirits.

You’ll have to chase the Spirits, hop on them, and pull off the white flowers until a red flower appears. This will defeat the Spirit and help with the war. Watch out, though, because those Spirits can grow thorns and bombs on their backs and this can throw you off if your grip meter gets too low.

You’ll have side quests that don’t seem to have much reward at the end, so the never-ending chase through city streets may seem strange to some players. It’s very visually appealing, but the dialogue is very sarcastic, so there’s sometimes a weird feeling to the game.

The game offers support for the iPhone 5’s larger screen, full Retina support, and a ton of outfits and items to pick up or upgrade. You can choose your difficulty level, too.

Lili was updated to Version 1.2.1 on November 20, 2012. The update added support for the new iPad and memory optimizations. The current version has 585 customer ratings with an average of four out of five stars. Feedback comments are all positive.

I was impressed initially with the game, but the repetitive or unnecessary elements stole a bit of the fun.

It’s visually very thrilling and the funny dialogue will keep you on your toes. All in all, it’s fun enough and strangely addictive. Check it out.
