Stress Check Pro by Azumio Inc. is a unique app that provides you with a measurement of your physical and emotional stress levels.

This app uses the iPhone’s built-in camera to measure your body’s heart rate variability (HRV) – the amount of time between consecutive heart beats.

Stress Check Pro features complex algorithms that have been designed in line with the European Society Of Cardiology (ESC) and the North American Society Of Pacing And Electrophysiology (NASPE) and their recommendations.

By using Stress Check Pro, you will be able to test how you respond to various stressors in your day-to-day life, as well as being able to store your results so that you can track your progress over time.
Athletes will also benefit from using this app to measure recovery from exercise.

Stress Check Pro was updated to version 1.3 in mid-February of 2012. The current version has a total of 41 customer ratings with an average rating of three out of five stars.

I think this is a very useful app for becoming more mindful of what makes you tick. By tracking your results over time you can learn to keep calm in situations that would ordinarily stress you out. Keeping your stress levels down will result in improvements in health and greater longevity, which can’t be a bad thing!
