Sketches & Cartoon Me by Zhang Liming is a fun way to take a picture of yourself and turn it into artwork.

Have you ever wondered what you’d look like as a cartoon, or maybe a sketch? You'll have no need to wonder anymore, thanks to this app. The app gives you nine image effects to convert your photos.

There are four cartoon effects and five sketch effects for experimenting. As well the app boasts an easy-to-use interface meant to make the process fast and simple.

You'll be able to use any photo; however, for the best results you'll want to use a picture where the subject's head is the main focus and takes up most of the photo. You can use the same photo to experiment with each of the effects. Because they are so different your results will all be unique.

Use the effects on your own photo, of a friend, of a child - for whomever you want to create an artistic-looking picture.

I think the effects you get here are a lot of fun. You can take a very ordinary photo and turn it into something fun and unique. While the interface was easy to use and quick, I do think the app does have some limitations. The nine effects are all good and plenty of fun but the app could benefit from more available effects.
