Rise Alarm Clock by Kellen Styler is an alarm clock app for your iOS device.

Alarm clocks are not all made equally. Some people are habitual snoozers while others are up-and-at-'ems, and how the alarm clock starts your day is a very important thing. Rise Alarm Clock has features that suit everyone, making it a handy little app to have.

Setting the wake time is as easy as dragging your finger across the screen to choose the time you would like the alarm to go off. Once set a simple swipe gesture sets the alarm and it is ready to wake you at the desired time.

The alarm can be set to snooze or turned off entirely from the lock screen with nothing more than a shake. When the device is set to landscape you are greeted with a large clock display showing the remaining time until the alarm is triggered.

The clock displays are bright and colorful and the simple time display is elegant yet functional. There are no fancy images or animated backgrounds, just the time which is perfectly ideal for this type of app. You simple set it and forget it until it wakes you in the morning.

Rise Alarm clock was recently updated to Version 2.2 on February 21, 2013 and included some bug fixes and changes to iOS support. There are currently seven ratings with an average score of three out of five stars.

I like the simplicity of this alarm clock app. There is a lot of what I want without the fancy clutter. I would highly recommend this app to anyone looking for a decent alarm clock app.
