Hollywood Camera by Ribui Ltd lets you put yourself into costumes from Hollywood blockbusters.

Everyone wants to be a movie star and this app lets you live out that fantasy. Take a photo of yourself and get to work adding props and costumes. There are costumes such as the one worn in the Gladiator, Queen Elizabeth, and even the Blues Brothers.

This app has been launched in conjunction with the Victoria and Albert Museum’s Hollywood Costume exhibit and includes 16 costumes. There are also accessories included such as the headdress and jewellery worn by Gwyneth Paltrow, or the glasses and hat as worn by the Blues Brothers.

The app also includes detailed information about each costume and prop including the film date, and where it was filmed. The app is very easy to use and can have you producing fantastic images in a very short period of time.

Hollywood Camera was last updated to Version 1.2 on December 2, 2012 and included some fixes for crashing on the iPod devices. There are currently 8 ratings that have earned a score of two stars out of five.

I found this app to be pretty cool. The costumes and such are pretty cool but very limited. It is fun to send the photos to your friends and maybe you could create a pretty cool collage with all your friend’s photos but I think that is as far as it would go.
