Zite by Zite, Inc. makes sure you never run out of magazines to read on your iPad by helping you to discover just what's out there.
While there is plenty to read and watch out there, covering all the sources on a daily basis just isn’t possible. Zite works by making sure you get a chance to read and view the material that fits your tastes.
How it works is that the app looks at millions of articles each and every day, analyzes them, and then delivers you only the best from your favorite newspapers, magazines, blogs, authors, and videos.
There are over 40,000 topics to choose, and from your choices, Zite will then keep an eye out for you and gather the stories that fit under that branch. As well it will search outside your "comfort zone" so you'll find a fresh look on these topics.
You'll be able to get updates on political news, gather fabulous new recipes, or Zite can help you with research on a topic of interest.
The app is made to not only be intuitive but also sleek and simple.
You can view your history of topics and articles, and you get Google Plus sharing, LinkedIn sharing, the ability to swipe left on the iPhone to advance to the next topic, and brand new sharing features to be used with Evernote.
Zite was updated on Feb. 7, 2013 and currently has 4,538 customer ratings with an average rating of four and a half out of five stars.
For me the thing I really enjoyed about this app was its ability to gather information on the topics I was interested in from sources I normally wouldn’t think to check. It gave me a new and interesting spin on these topics.
