Marriott International by Marriott International is an app that enables you to make reservations at over 3800 Marriott hotels and resorts worldwide.

Once booked, you can add your reservations directly to your calendar. Furthermore, this app offers full access to your Marriott rewards account and the ability to create one if you are not currently enrolled.

Other features include GPS support, so you can locate hotels in your vicinity, and access to city guides, so you can plan your trip will full knowledge of your destination.

Marriott International was updated to version 2.0 in late-February of 2013. The current version has a total of 28 customer ratings with an average rating of two out of five stars. A major complaint is that this app offers little advantage over the mobile version of the Marriott website.

I must admit, this app is a little disappointing when you sit it side-by-side with the Marriott website. The design feels somewhat lazy, and the navigation is not as user-friendly as it could be. The features, however, are still there and if you want to make bookings with Marriott, this app is obviously going to be a useful tool to have at hand. I would say to download it so you can judge for yourself.

For: iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad with iOS 4.3 or later. Optimized for iPhone 5. There is currently no iPad-specific version of this app.
