Dr. Seuss Camera – The Cat in the Hat Edition by Oceanhouse Media is a fun camera app for your iOS device.

This app lets you create fantastic, whimsical cards where you can insert Cat in the Hat images into existing photos from your Camera Roll or Photo Library, or take fresh pictures from within the app itself and add your choice of fun options.

You can either add in Cat in the Hat to your photo, or you can turn yourself into Thing 1 or 2, Sally, her brother, or the Cat in the Hat. Once your image is perfect, you can customize the card with borders, stamps, and text, and then send to recipients via email. You can also save the card to your Photo Library and then upload it to Facebook, Twitter, or other social media platform.

You get a total of 16 different cards from which to choose, all based on the extraordinary art of Dr. Seuss. Once your photos are loaded from your library or taken using the app, you can drag them to fit or pinch to zoom or shrink. You can then add your stamps, which you can also move around, rotate, or scale.

Dr. Seuss Camera – the Cat in the Hat Edition was updated to Version 1.4 on August 31, 2012. The update made some bug fixes and other improvements.

I think this is a fun app that kids and adult alike will enjoy. I know my daughter loves making cards to send to her grandparents and she’s going to love this one. The app works really well, is easy to use, and has enough options that you can use the same cards over and over without them being too similar.
