This app features music you can play any place and any time. There are a huge variety of playlists to pick from. All 750,000 of the playlists are put together by someone who not only loves but also knows about music, so you're getting the best of the best.

Unlike other apps that play music, this app is completely audio-ad free. Yep, that means you can listen to your tunes uninterrupted.

There's no such thing as hearing the same song hourly; instead, it's a variety of fresh music so you don't get bored. If you're looking for a particular genre, mood, or activity for the music to go along with you can use the search function to easily find music.

This is a great way to also discover new music, follow your favorite DJs, and check out all the hottest album cover artwork.

In this latest version of the app there were a number of bug fixes plus if you want to log in to Facebook it has now been made easier. There are banner ads in the app but you can now purchase to remove them by just one easy click.

8tracks was updated on Feb. 27, 2013 and currently has 56 customer ratings with an average or four and a half out of five stars.

I thought this app was fabulous for a number of reasons but the first being that I was exposed to so many different genres and artists that I really found quite a few new favorites. I also liked how easy it was to use and the fact the same songs didn't play over and over again like so often happens on the real radio.
