This app provides you with access to a wide range of products and projects, and you will also benefit from receiving exclusive mobile-only coupons and email alerts.

Using the in-app QR scanner, you will gain access to even more projects and coupons.

Other features include adding projects to a Favorites list, a Michaels store locator, a list of upcoming events, and the ability to share projects with friends and family.

Michaels Stores was updated to version 3.2 in late-February of 2013. The current version has a total of 17 customer ratings with an average rating of 2.5 out of 5 stars. Customer reviews are quite mixed so it is advisable to download this app and judge for yourself.

I would say that this app is worth having, if only for the coupons. You will need to create an in-app account separate from your Michaels.com login, which can make things surprisingly inconvenient. This does not appear to be a very well-received so I would hope that Michaels Stores respond to the customer feedback and give users what they are looking for in the next update.
