Loopseque by Casual Underground is a magical musical app built just for kids. It’s free for a limited time, so get it now and watch your child’s face light up as you launch this app.

This isn’t a game where your child will have to escape evil villains or beat their high score or perform x number of movements under a certain time. This app is all about soothing music, creativity, fun, and peaceful scenery.

Gradually, your child will learn about rhythm, patterns, and how the visual will associate with the audio and tactile levels of interaction with this app. He or she will be drawn into the colors, patterns, rhythms, and general fairytale-ish feel of the look and sound.

If it’s a realistic-looking piano you’re looking for, go elsewhere. There are literally thousands of that type of thing available. If it’s a surreal, magical, beautifully fun musical app you want, then look no further.

When you launch the app you’ll get two options: pads and traditional. The pads option shows you a circular grouping of pads where you touch the pads and then the rotating arm swings over the pads you’ve touched, creating music. This allows for rhythm exploration. Touch the center to change the tone and background theme as well.

The traditional piano option is also circular and allows for you to tweak the sounds with bells and other accompaniments when you tap the center.

Both of the boards are surrounded by little huts and trees, and a large, friendly, walking bug. All of the items, including the sun, star, and clouds, will make a sound when touched.
