SparkNotes by SparkNotes LLC is an education app that provides you with the most popular study guides for drama, poetry, literature, Shakespeare, and short stories.

You will have online access to tons of material with the ability to download guides for easy reference when offline. You can check into the app to start a study group and let everyone know where you are by sharing your location. You will begin with access to 50 study guides already installed in your library, with hundreds more waiting for you.

Using a customized post on Facebook you can check in and share what you’re studying. In the newest update developers have improved the ad feature making them less intrusive and improving app navigation, in addition to the usual bug fixes.

SparkNotes was updated to Version 1.2.1 on August 11, 2012. It has a total of 267 customer ratings with an average of 3.5 out of five stars. Feedback has not been very positive with some users disappointed with a lack of landscape view and some others disappointed with the lack of No Fear Shakespeare which many users were using previously.

I am no longer a student but if I was this would be an app I would use. It has a pretty decent selection and it’s fairly easy to use and navigate: not too bad for a free app.
