InstaMessage by MobileTrends Inc. is a social networking app that lets you link up with those located nearby or who you like on Instagram.

This app not only lets you link up with people but you can do so privately. If posting public comments on Instagram isn't for you, this app solves your problem. You'll be able to have that private conversation without having to worry about everyone also joining in.

This app is loaded with plenty of fun features such as being able to chat with your friends as well as Instagram people who have interested you. You can check out people's profiles and then start your chat.

When you sign in you'll need to use your Instagram credentials. This means no registration is needed for the app.

Once you've signed in you can check out InstaMessage users who are located near you and start having a conversation. As an added feature, there is a block list where you can stop selected users from contacting you.

In this latest version of the app there is an option that has been added to your settings menu that allows you to hide your city and location information if you'd rather keep that private.

InstaMessage was updated on Mar. 6, 2013 and currently has 12 customer ratings with an average rating of four and a half out of five stars.

I loved that this app made it so easy to connect with people, as well the ability to have a private conversation was really nice rather than posting for all to see.
