Pro Metronome app review

Reviews

Pro Metronome

Price: Free

Pro Metronome by Xiao Yixiang lets you customize time signatures to your liking.

This free version of the app is able to fit the needs of pretty much all players. There is a newly designed time signature setting interface in this app, giving you the ability to create any time signatures.

Enjoy the real-time playback you're given here as well as the seven metronome tones. There are dynamic accent settings that include mf, f, p, and mute indicators. Calculating your BPM is done through a tap.

There are all kinds of features here including the ability to adjust your volume from inside the app, there is a power-saving mode that will lock your screen while keeping it working, and the app features background playing mode.

What's really cool with this app is not only can use see the beats but you can feel them, giving you an incredible experience. If you upgrade to the Pro Version of the app you'll also get flash, vibrate, visual, and airplay mode.

When you're finished practicing be sure to use the save current parameters feature, which will save to your favorite list and load whenever you want it next.

Pro Metronome was updated on Nov. 23, 2012 and currently has 433 customer ratings with an average rating of four and a half out of five stars.

I really like that free version of this app gave you more than enough features to get started with. The app itself was also very easy to use and being able to save parameters was a handy feature.

For: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and iPad with iOS 5.0 or later
