Mac Life Magazine by Future plc is a newsstand app that is meant to provide you with the ultimate magazine about all things Apple.

Mac Life Magazine is a professional and authoritative source of Apple information, ahead of the curve and beyond entertaining. This app is supposed to be for everyone, from the very newest of users to the veterans, with lots of content to help you get the most out of your Mac and other Apple products. The app comes with a free 30 day subscription, and after that you have the option of purchasing single issues for $5.99, a monthly membership for $0.99, or buying a year's subscription for $10.99.

Mac Life Magazine was updated to Version 3.1.4 on February 26, 2013. It has a total of 758 customer ratings with an average of three out of five stars. Feedback is quite poor with users extremely frustrated with the number of times they have had to download previously purchased issues. Other users are angry with loss of subscriptions and multiple performance issues. Many users have gone back and changed their four or five star ratings to a one.

Nothing stands out as being special with this app, the monthly subscription for an average-at-best magazine is not something I will be signing up for anytime soon. Overall this app has been slightly disappointing as I had expected a better experience.
