Phonto by youthhr is a simple photo and video app that easily allows you to add text to pictures.

This app offers an incredibly large selection of fonts with over 200 to choose from. You also have the option to install fonts of your own, so you can increase that number to as big as you like. Almost every aspect of the text is customizable: choose the size, color, gradient, stroke color, shadow color, and background color of your text. You can also rotate the text, change its kerning, line spacing, image theme, and even add items like balloons, stars, hearts, and rectangles. Get creative with your messaging on your iPad in ways you never even dreamed possible before today.

The newest update has added some more templates for Plain Image as well as some bug fixes, and some minor performance improvements. The app also syncs with Dropbox and gives you the ability to add watermarks on images from your phone using any font you want.

Phonto was updated to Version 3.5.1 on February 27, 2013. It has a total of 1015 customer ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars. Feedback is fantastic with users in love with its ease-of-use and ability to share on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
