This app is a golfer's dream, loaded with all kinds of handy free features. Some of the things you'll be able to get free with this app include a yardage book that offers color 3D images of courses, golf GPS distances on any golf course worldwide, and the ability to keep score of up to four people. Scoring includes stats and handicaps as well.

Because golfing can be expensive the tee time booking with GolfNow right through the app is especially attractive as it can save you money. Other savings include deals on golf gear and equipment in the Golfsmith Pro Shop. You'll have free access to Golf Digest archived videos and lessons, meant to help improve your game.

Go ahead and track your stats so you know how you're doing. Stay on top of all the golf news with the live streaming news feed. Other fun and helpful features include GPS to all layups and hazards, GPS to the front/back/center of greens, and daily pin positions.

The club tracking feature will show you the distance and the location of each club you hit. As well the Club Distance Grid will help you by showing you where your clubs should end up landing based on where you're standing.
