Being able to communicate with friends and family is extremely important and having the right app for the job is a must. Skype WiFi connects you with blazing fast video and crystal clear sound. Add contacts your list and begin chatting right away.

Skype WiFi is a little bit different from the standard Skype in that the data usage is reduced so that you use it at any hot spot without loss of connection or other problems. You can also connect to a network from within the app in the event you are not already connected.

You can use your Skype credit to make phone calls to land lines as well, just as if you were using the full version of Skype. The account you use for Skype WiFi is the same as your regular Skype account and all of your credit is available from that account.

Skype WiFi was last updated to Version 1.2.1 on January 25, 2013 and included universal support for iPad and iPhone, additional WiFi networks added, and some bug fixes. There have been 43 ratings for the current version with a total of 1788 ratings for all versions. A score of three out of five stars has been awarded to this app based on the reviews.

This app is a neat addition to the Skype family and adds some much needed versatility to what is already a great communications app.
