GoPayment by Intuit Inc. is a business app for your iPad that makes sure you never miss out on a sale.

This app allows you to do all kinds of things such as accept credit card payments right on your iPad and make use of the free card reader. The card reader works by plugging into your audio jack. All you need to do is swipe the credit card, wait for authorization, and then the payment is completed.

Other features include being able to customize the app to suit your needs looks-wise, apply discounts to orders, and record cash transactions.

To make things convenient you can sync the items automatically for all your devices. Go ahead and categorize your items so you can find them easily. You may want to view the most requested items or the favorites. The app also lets you view your transaction history.

If you need to, multiple employees may accept payments with this app by setting permissions.

The way the app works is that after downloading it you complete application to get approval within the app or visit gopayment.com. After approval you're able to start taking credit card payments.

GoPayment was updated on Feb. 25, 2013 and currently has 69 customer ratings with an average rating of four and a half out of five stars.

Although I have no need to accept credit card payments I felt this app was extremely well done, well presented, and very useful to merchants who need to be able to accept payments in a mobile way.
