Whiteboard Lite: Collaborative Drawing

Price: Free

Whiteboard Lite: Collaborative Drawing by GrennGar Studios turns your iPad into a versatile whiteboard.

Use this whiteboard to collaborate with friends and family over Bluetooth or WiFi and create your drawings together. This version of the app uses local WiFi to draw together and does feature ads.

There is the ability to connect without an access point by using Bluetooth instead. This option is only available on select devices. Both devices need to be iPod touch 2nd gen, iPhone 3G, or iPhone 3GS running iOS 3.0 or higher.

This app is all about creating something as a collaborative experience. You can paint on the same canvas at the same time, paint over each other's work, and combine your talents. Full-screen drawing is available you and you have the ability to adjust the width of your marker.

So what uses can this app have? Well you can play fun games together like Hangman, Tic Tac Toe, Dots, and many more. As well it's a great way to brainstorm ideas together, create a list of items together, or even a schedule/plan while getting input from the other party. It’s just a handy and quick way to visually share ideas between people.

Whiteboard Lite was updated on Jan. 17, 2013 and currently has 205 customer ratings with an average rating of four out of five stars.

I thought this app was a lot of fun. Sure there are tons of practical uses here but you can also have a ton of fun sharing your thoughts and ideas with friends and family thanks to this app.

For: iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad with iOS 4.3 or later
