MAYDAY! Emergency Landing by Reludo is a game that puts you in the cockpit of a plane about to make an emergency landing.

It's up to you to safely pilot this airplane to the ground as you're faced with aircraft equipment failures and dangerous weather. You have a plane full of passengers counting on you for their survival. The only goal of this game is to land the plane safely.

You'll be faced with a life-like aircraft console as you steer and maneuver the plane. The key is to keep a constant airspeed and make sure the plane is at the correct angle of descent. You'll need to pay close attention to instrumentation if you hope to have a safe landing.

As you play through each scenario you will actually be working your way through different levels of difficulty. There are five different scenarios, 40 missions, and four types of surfaces to land on.

Some of the weather conditions you'll be up against include turbulence, heavy rain, strong winds, and fog. Aircraft failures that can possibly occur can include problems with the gear, flaps, or engine. All of these can prove catastrophic if you aren't fast with your reactions.

I really liked the premise of this game and how realistic it seemed. The downfall was that you only get two maps then you'll need to buy more if you want to continue.
