AccuWeather Platinum by AccuWeather, Inc. is a powerful weather app that is currently available for reduced price of $1.99 as an introductory offer.

This app provides you with accurate forecasts that update every five minutes, and you can create personalized My AccuWeather forecasts based upon travel plans and health issues.

Push notifications are available for severe weather warnings, and the 25-day forecast integrates directly with your device's Calendar so you can quickly and easily view the weather for the coming weeks.

AccuWeather Platinum offers worldwide coverage, and you can even pin the locations of your contacts to the map so that you may view the weather forecasts for where they are.

AccuWeather Platinum was updated to version 6.0 in mid-March of 2013. The current version has a total of 253 customer ratings with an average rating of 2.5 out of five stars.

There seem to be a few minor stability issues with the most recent update, but overall I like this app. The forecasts are as accurate as any other weather app I have used, and the interface is intuitive with a nice clean design.
