WWF Together by World Wildlife Fund is an education app for your iPad that brings you all kinds of fascinating facts about a variety of animal species.

This interactive app gives you the opportunity to discover the lives of these animals and learn about the work the WWF does. You'll find stories on species which are updated regularly. These stories are detailed and interactive such as the "tiger vision" features.

The animal origami takes each animal and folds it up while creating an animated video. This can be shared through Twitter, email, and Facebook. If you're wondering about where all these species live you'll want to use the 3D interactive globe that will plot 60 animals. There are image galleries, full-screen videos, and high-definition pictures.

And let's not forget the unusual animal facts you can discover here such as what does a stick of butter and a panda have in common? You'll have to download the app to find out.

The WWF has been in existence for 50 years helping to save wildlife from all kinds of threats. These include overuse of natural resources, habitat loss, and poaching.

What I loved about this app was its ability to combine education with entertainment. Everything was presented so professionally, with a lot of emphasis on the quality of the interactive and visual features of the app.
